Chocolarder Dark Chocolate Almonds
Our Christmas chocolates come from Chocolarder in Falmouth (Cornwall) for the second year running. Mike started his bean-to-bar business in 2012 after a career in professional kitchens as a pastry chef. We are pleased to have found a company whose ethos and buying practices align closely with ours – cacao and coffee have a number of things in common.
These Italian almonds are tumbled in a 70% dark chocolate full of red fruit flavour and whisky notes, then dusted with cocoa. The chocolate comes from the all-female Virunga cooperative in eastern Congo.
